Ly Huy Sang, the founder of Greenie Scoop, has reasonable confidence to showcase his entire production lines to visitors at every store as he believes in the technologies and great devotion building his own brand. That pursuit results in “selling what people enjoy eating, not making a profit”.

As a perfectionist who pays close attention to food hygiene, he asserts safe products only come from a qualified source of pure ingredients and a clean working environment.

Entering the 7-year-old factory, eyeing on its flawless floor as well as the machinery worth well over half a million dollar, people may hold in awe as everything appears just like yesterday. It does not seem that 2,500 days of operation can damage a piece of facility here.

    

Not only does he incline towards strict working regulations, but he also ask for “public observation” when glass-walling his whole factory.

Visitors are encouraged to watch every stage directly outside the factory or via CCTVs at retail stores so that they can rest assured on the quality and hygiene of Greenie Scoop products.

Hand washing, three-time shoe changing and sanitizing processes, which meet international standards can be seen clearly through the translucent wall. Whenever a staff enters another part of the factory, changing shoes and apron, plus repeating the sanitization, is required.

Also, the sink where the fruit is transferred in is a sign of an utmost care. Four water taps with different spray filters work well with any kind of fruit, which cleans them thoroughly yet reserves their original texture.

    

Greenie Scoop factory is well equipped with a UV light system which kills germs in the air on a daily basis.

Lately it is revamped with a German rubber flooring option from nora® worth billions of Vietnamese dong.

In the storage, barrels of dairy ingredients and cartons of ice cream spoon, which are imported straight from Italy, France, New Zealand, Japan, etc. are neatly stacked.

Apparently, technology is Greenie Scoop’s largest investment. For instance, its machinery is ordered from big names of the industry. Coconut peeler, centrifugal de-seeder and food metal detector are all custom-made.

Since not many people actually produce gelato using wholly fresh fruit, Ly Huy Sang struggled to realize his recipes with available machines. He learned it the hard way to re-invent the mixer for sugar, milk, and butter. Then he sent his blueprints to major manufacturers. As a result, his determination soon earned Greenie Scoop, since its very beginning, a reputation among renowned technology giants such as Siemens, Metter Toledo, Irinox, etc.

Gelato is a typical comfort food which can be easily messed up by just a tiny bit of mistake from either ingredients or procedures.

Hence, the water filtration system is bought from the US and Taiwanese suppliers. Periodically sewage and processing water are monitored closely.

Years ago, even when production was still under testing phase, Greenie Scoop had accomplished the HCCAP and ISO qualifications.
